Description
Yugoslav Navy patrol boat was built in 1952 . In the early 80's this type of ships 🚢 were disarmed and pulled out from the service and then used as a target during the military exercises .This one were hit by a ship missile and submerged in the cove of Zanjic ( shipwreck GPS coordinates 42: 23: 923 N / 18: 34: 512 E ) . Due to good visibility and accessible depth for all certified divers this wreck is the most popular dive site in Montenegro.
Dive plan
Shipwreck Patrol Boat lies on sandy bottom with the maximum depth of 25m. It is one peace wreck with a length od 40m and it is very well preserved. The fact that Shipwreck deck is on 18m depth makes this dive site accessible to all certified divers. During this dive sea current is negligible and visibility is very good. The shipwreck is not marked so it is necessary to establish the reference line which will be used for both descending and ascending. Maximum bottom time is 25 minutes, absolute bottom time is 40 minutes with safety stop included. Penetration into the wreck is possible but allowed only for Wreck Speciality certified divers.

- It is recommended to mark the site with diving marking buoys.
- Surface support is required.
- Maximum depth is 25 m.
- Water temperature varies from 15°C to 25°C.
- Sea currents are negligible
- Visibility is ranging from 10 to 25 m.
- It is recommended to use a wet suit with a thickness from 5-7mm.
